Andre' Anthony dropped a game-high 28 points on 12-of-21 shooting and the pair of
Rob Agurs and

The Golden Eagles were exceptional at forcing the Hilltoppers into errors, as West Liberty recorded 22 turnovers that Clarion turned into 27 points. The difference came on the boards, with the Hilltoppers out-rebounding the Golden Eagles by a 56-38 margin.
The Hilltoppers opened the game on a 6-0 run but Anthony tied the score with a transition jumper, swiping the ball from David Dennis Jr. and putting it in to make it 6-6. Anthony scored in transition on the next possession as well after
Cameron Grumley notched the steal, and Anthony capped his personal 8-0 run by stealing the ball from Mike Lamberti and scoring it to make it 10-6 with 14:55 left.
Agurs kept the pressure on West Liberty with a pair of free throw makes at the 12:54 mark, and the forward scored a jumper in transition with 12:40 left to take a 17-11 lead. The Hilltoppers rallied back with a 12-0 run, taking a 23-17 lead with under 10 minutes to play in the half. West Liberty went ahead 36-29 but the Golden Eagles responded with a 15-3 run of their own, re-taking the advantage on an Anthony jumper to make it 40-39 with 2:00 to play. Anthony drained a fast break jumper with 1:06 to go in the half to take a 44-39 lead, and the Golden Eagles held a one-possession advantage at the half.
West Liberty controlled the tempo of the second half, however, outscoring Clarion 48-25 in the final 20 minutes of action to claim the victory.
