CLARION, Pa. – Coming off a season-high 110-point effort Monday, the Clarion University men's basketball team will look to make it two straight wins when it hosts Edinboro at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
If you can't make it to the game, the game can be heard locally on WCUC, 91.7 FM and on the internet

The Golden Eagles (9-14 overall, 6-13 PSAC West) are 6-5 at Tippin Gym this season and still have an ever-so-slight chance at the PSAC playoffs trailing both California (Pa.) and Pitt-Johnstown by three games with three to play. More likely, Clarion can play the role of spoiler Wednesday, as Edinboro is a ½ game out of a postseason berth.
Clarion is coming off a 110-57 non-conference win over Penn St.-DuBois Monday that saw
Darius Stevens record a career-high 32 points, while
Ralph Naples had a career-best seven assists to go with career highs in points (seven) and rebounds (four). The last time out in conference play, the Golden Eagles dropped an 81-65 decision at Mercyhurst despite 27 points from
Kyheim Hall, who was 15 of 15 from the free-throw line, and 22 from
BJ Andrews.
Andrews has been a stalwart of late for the Golden Eagles averaging 21.1 ppg in his last seven contests with five games of at least 20 points during that span, which has seen him shoot 50.6 percent (45 of 89) from the floor including 54.1 percent (20 of 37) from 3-point range. On the season, he now ranks 18
th in the PSAC in scoring at 13.8 ppg.
Stevens, meanwhile, is 28
th in the PSAC in scoring at 12.7 ppg while netting three games of at least 20 points this year.
Hall adds 12.1 ppg and a team-best 6.0 rpg and he ranks third in the PSAC in steals with 2.3 per game helping Clarion lead the PSAC in steals with 11.52 per contest.
Edinboro (12-12, 9-11), which is coming off an exciting 79-77 overtime win against IUP Saturday, is paced by the PSAC West's top scorer, Henri Wade-Chatman, who averages 19.0 ppg. The West's top-scoring freshman, Jaymon Mason (14.4 ppg) has also been a key player for the Fighting Scots.
Clarion concludes its home season at 3 p.m. Sunday when it hosts Slippery Rock. It will be Senior Day with
Tyrone McFadden, the team's lone senior, being honored.
