CLARION SOCCER EDGES MILLERSVILLE 2-1 (Millersville, Pa.): Clarion's
Stephanie Lias and McKenzie Sheesley scored their first goals of the season, staking the Golden Eagle women's soccer team to a 2-0 lead, and eventually a big 2-1 road win at Millersville on Saturday afternoon.
Played at Pucillo Field, Clarion raised its record in the PSAC to 2-3-1, while Millersville dropped to 2-4 on the season.
The Golden Eagles got on the board at the 31:20 mark
when Stephanie Lias scored an unassisted goal, giving Clarion a 1-0 lead before intermission.
In the second half,
McKenzie Sheesley scored at 52:04 when beating MU goalie Samantha Wolfe to the bottom left corner for a goal, giving the Eagles a 2-0 advantage.
Millersville scored at 58:01 on a goal by Victoria Kramer to narrow the lead to 2-1, but the Marauders could get no closer and Clarion had a 2-1 win.

Krista Mosi made 5 saves on the day and picked up the win. The Golden Eagles had 11 shots, three each by
Brieann Cook and Marina Kelly.
Clarion visits Seton Hill on Wednesday at 4pm.
