WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The Clarion men's basketball team was defeated on the road against West Chester Sunday afternoon by a final score of 92-67. The loss moves the Blue and Gold to 1-4 on the season and 0-2 in the PSAC. The Golden Eagles return to action Tuesday when they host Davis & Elkins at Tippin Gymnasium.

BJ Andrews enjoyed one of the most productive days of his career, recording his 1,000
th point in a Clarion uniform. The junior finished with 25 points, shooting 7-19 from the field including 3-9 from beyond the three-point arc. He also added eight rebounds and two assists on the evening.

The Golden Eagles got off to a slow start, finding themselves in 31-2 and 42-11 holes in the first half. Though they managed to find a shooting groove as the game progressed, West Chester's stout defense and aggressive rebounding proved too much to overcome.
