Although the Blue and Gold managed to knock down 11 three-pointers on the evening, they could not outlast a physically tough Hilltoppers squad that out-rebounded them 47-33. Down just five points at the end of the first 20 minutes, West Liberty's size advantage in the paint was enough of an advantage to stave off any hopes of a Golden Eagles comeback.
