MEN'S SWIMMING FINISHES THIRD DAY AT PSAC'S

Day 3 Results

YORK, Pa. – The Clarion men's swimming team concluded its third day of competition at the 2016 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships on Saturday, with the Golden Eagles finishing the day in seventh place.  Competition will wrap on Sunday at the York YMCA Aquatic Center.
 
Nathan Porter notched a top-10 finish with a strong performance in the 500 Free, posting a time that won the "B" flight of the race and was actually the seventh-best in the field on Saturday.   Porter finished the race in 4:40.01 to beat the next-fastest finisher in his heat by more than a full second.  Teammate Thomas Toborowski also recorded points in the race, taking 16th with a time of 4:53.42.
 
Ian Porter took eighth in the 100 Breaststroke, garnering 11 points in the "A" heat with a time of 57.23.  Jon Haycock rounded out the scoring for Clarion on the day when he took 14th in the same event, pulling in three points with his time of 58.46.
