DAY 3 RESULTS
YORK, Pa. –
Summer Dacheux produced the best placement of the weekend for a Golden Eagle, and the Clarion women's swimming team maintained its position in sixth place at the 2016 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships. The weekend will conclude tomorrow morning at the York YMCA Aquatic Center.

Dacheux fired out to a second-place finish in the 100 Back, notching the best finish for a Clarion swimmer at the championships in the process. She recorded a time of 57.56 in the event, finishing less than a second behind winner Alex Wheatley of Bloomsburg. The sophomore earned 17 points for the Golden Eagles in the process, with Clarion maintaining its hold on sixth place in the team event.

Joining Dacheux in earning points in the 100 Back was Katherine Querciagrossa, who took 11th in the event with a time of 59.10. Her time in the "B" flight was actually the ninth-fastest overall in the event. Another Golden Eagle to produce a top-10 finish on Saturday was
Alexis Lopez, who notched a time of 1:06.65 in the 100 Breaststroke to take 10th overall in the event and garner seven points for Clarion.

The 800 Free Relay team of
Eliza O'Neal, Kelsey Burke, Querciagrossa and Becca Yonek wrapped the day with an eighth-place finish, recording a time of 7:58.18. Â
