FULL RESULTS - DAY 2

YORK, Pa.
– Movement on the leaderboard continued on the second day of action at the PSAC Swimming Championships, as the Clarion women's swimming team moved into sixth place with a total score of 121 points after two days of action.  The third of the four-day event will take place on Saturday.

Two high-placing relay teams made up many of the points scored by the Golden Eagles on Friday, starting with the effort of the 200 Free Relay team.  The quartet of Emily ONdrizek, Katherine Querciagrossa, Becca Yonek and Alexis Lopez took fourth with a time of 1:37.74, holding off a charge from IUP to maintain the top-four finish and the 30 points that came with it.  Lopez provided the fastest leg of the race for Clarion, finishing her portion in 23.94.

Three of those four competitors also contributed to the fifth-place finish of the 400 Medley Relay team, with Summer Dacheux taking the place of Querciagrossa in the grouping.  Clarion took fifth in the event with a time of 3:56.37, just a quarter of a second ahead of IUP's sixth-place finish.

Individually, Ondrizek contributed to the team total on Saturday with her performance in the 100 Fly.  Ondrizek took seventh in the race with a time of 58.39, edging out Shippensburg's Rikki Sargent in the process.  That finish netted her team 12 points.
