CALIFORNIA, Pa- Clarion Volleyball registered an impressive 3-0 sweep of the California Vulcans Friday night in a PSAC road contest.
The Golden Eagles move to 17-6 overall and 8-2 in the PSAC, while California drops to 12-9 and 6-4 in the PSAC.
It was an important contest in a highly competitive PSAC southwest division.
Clarion dominated virtually every statistical category on the night, en route to winning 25-21, 25-13, 25-21.
Senior
Taylor Braunagel paced the Clarion attack with 18 kills, followed by
Julia Holden with 14.
Leah Vensel set the attack with 41 assists.
On the defensive end
Lauryn Driscoll recorded 4 blocks while
Catherine Ferragonio had 26 digs.
This sets the stage for a big road contest tomorrow at Seton Hill for control of the Southwest Division.
The two teams will square off in Greensburg at 1pm.
