ERIE, Pa. – Clarion freshman
Christan Bowshier shot her best round of the spring on Sunday, pacing the quintet of Golden Eagles in the first round of the Gannon Spring Invitational playing at Lake Shore Country Club today. The Clarion women's golf team will conclude their spring slate tomorrow with the final round of action at Lake Shore.

Bowshier tied for 17th in the field with a score of 88, her best mark of the spring season to date and her third-best round of the year. Just behind her was Clarion's top finisher from the previous tournament,
Elisabeth Papa, who carded a round of 94. Papa tied for 24th overall on day one.

Kyla Hoag recorded a round of 110, and
Clancy Fyock was fourth on the team with a score of 114.Â
Jenna Schrecengost rounded out the field with a 117. Clarion totaled a score of 406 on Sunday.
