MILLERSVILLE, Pa – Three different players scored for Millersville Saturday afternoon as the Clarion women's soccer team fell 4-2 to the Marauders on the road in PSAC action.

Delaney Meadows of Millersville picked up her first goal of the year early in the first half to give the Marauders and 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

Talia Grynkewicz picked up her seventh goal of the season just 5 minutes into the half, heading a cross off the foot of Alexis Glode past the keeper Stermel, making the score 2-0 Millersville.

The Golden Eagles would pull back within one less than 60 seconds later when a crossing pass was deflected by a Millersville defender and redirected in to the net making the score 2-1.

Kay Liebl picked up her thirteenth goal of the season off an assist from Alexis Spencer. Grynkewicz scored her second goal of the game in the 71
st minute to end the scoring for Millersville.

Junior
Meliah Roman was the lone goal scorer for the Blue and Gold. She scored her second goal of the season when she beat the Marauder defense and found the back of the net in the 77
th minute of the match.

The Golden Eagles had seven shots on the day lead by sophomore
Dani McNally with four. Roman also had two shots on goal while sophomore
Julianna Iocco had one.

Brigid Stermel got the start between the pipes for the Golden Eagles playing all ninety minutes making 10 stops on the day.
The Golden Eagles will drop to 3-12-1 on the season and 2-12-0 in the PSAC with two games remaining on the season.
Clarion will play their final home game of the season this Wednesday, October 24, the contest is set to kickoff at 7 pm. Prior to the game, Clarion will recognize their senior class.

The final game of the regular season will be next Saturday on the road against East Stroudsburg at 7:30 pm.
