Box Score ERIE, Pa. – The Clarion men's basketball team dropped a conference road game at Gannon University Wednesday night, 84-68.
The Golden Eagles led by three, 35-32 at halftime, but the Golden Knights rallied in the second half to pull away with the 16-point victory.
Clarion was led by senior guard
Cameron Grumley who dropped 25 points on 10 of 15 shooting. Grumley was also 5 of 9 from three-point range.
Brandon Williams added 14 points for Clarion while freshman
Maqi Watson added 11 points.
The Golden Eagles out performed Gannon from the floor, shooting 53% compared to 51% for the Golden Knights.
Gannon did hold a 32-25 edge in rebounds on the evening.
Clarion will finish out the 2017-2018 schedule with a road contest at California (Pa.) on Saturday at 3:30pm.
