CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion women's tennis team returned to Campbell Courts on Friday afternoon, falling by a 9-0 score to Slippery Rock in a PSAC West match. The Golden Eagles (4-9, 0-4 PSAC West) will be right back in action tomorrow afternoon when they face Mercyhurst at 1 p.m.

Action started with doubles play on Friday, with Slippery Rock taking all three matches on the court. The No. 3 doubles pairing of
Hailey Germanoski and
Michelle Petrilla dropped an 8-0 decision to begin the session, and the duo of
Vinisha Reddy and
Katie Benson pushed Viola Lugmayr and Olivia Warner before ultimately falling 8-3 in the No. 2 match.

In singles play, the Rock opened by winning the No. 3 match, with Reddy falling 6-0, 6-0. Slippery Rock clinched the team win in the No. 6 match, with Germanoski also dropping a 6-0, 6-0 decision.
