CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion women's soccer team hung tough with Gannon, falling by a 1-0 score on a brisk autumn Wednesday night at Memorial Stadium.

Brigid Stermel one on one in the 86
th minute of action to put Gannon ahead 1-0. That would be the lone goal on the evening for either side.
Both teams battled through chilly weather conditions the entire game. Gannon led the night in the shots category with 16 total, compared to Clarion's lone two.
The Golden Knights also led in corner kicks tallying one in each half, while Clarion had zero.
Meliah Roman and
Elle Stine notched the two shots for the Blue and Gold both coming in the first half.

A host of Golden Knights had multiple shots on goal with Bevacqua leading the way with two, while her teammate Vanessa Coccurello had three.
