MEADVILLE, Pa. – Morgan VanLeer finished her two-day stay in Meadville much in the same way she started, carding the lowest round of the day for the Golden Eagles at the Allegheny Invitational. The two-day event at the Country Club of Meadville concluded early on Monday afternoon.
VanLeer was the best finisher for the Golden Eagles in their first day on the course with a score of 88, and she came just a stroke shy of matching that performance on Monday. She carded a round of 89 for a two-day score of 177, which put her in a tie for 11
th place at the event.
Mackenzie Cassidy was second on the team on Monday after dropping three strokes from her previous round, carding a 105 for a two-day score of 213.
Julia Fischer shot a 113 on Monday, and
Emily DeMartino dropped four strokes from a day ago to finish with a 109.
Clarion finished sixth among the teams with a full squad, posting a two-day line of 389-416-805. That put them in sixth place at the conclusion of play.
