Women's Golf Takes 10th at Evann Parker Memorial

NORTH EAST, Pa. – The Golden Eagle women's golf team finished the second round of the Evann Parker Memorial hosted by Mercyhurst, with Clarion finishing 10th overall in the field. Clarion recorded a team score of 397 on Saturday afternoon, putting them ahead of Seton Hill.
 
Samantha Huth finished the tournament first on the Golden Eagles and 29th overall with a score of 176, after shooting a 90 in the second round. Taylor Galigher improved by two strokes from the previous round, carding an even 100 on Saturday and placing 48th overall. Sylvia Stibley made an even larger leap, cutting five strokes from the first round to shot a 101 in the second.
 
McLain Alt was the fourth-best score on Saturday, shooting a 106, while Emily DeMartino finished ahead of her in the overall standings.
