ERIE, Pa. – The Golden Eagle women's golf team finished up stretch of six rounds of golf in eight days with the final round of the Michael Corbett Fall Invitational Monday, making a huge leap on the scoresheet to finish the tournament. Clarion shot 373 as a team in the final round, tying them for ninth in that day's action and placing them 11
th overall.

The biggest scoring leap of the day came from
Emily DeMartino, who improved by 24 strokes from Sunday to Monday to shoot a season-best 98 in the second round. That was the third-best round for any Golden Eagle player on Monday.

Also making huge strides on Monday was
Taylor Galigher, who came back from a 102 on Sunday to tie for the team-best round with an 88 on Monday, representing a 14-stroke improvement. It was also just three strokes off her previous season-best, set at the Vulcan Invitational in the first week of September.
Samantha Huth tied Galigher's 88 with one of her own. Huth finished the tournament as Clarion's best f finisher, tying for 17
th in the field.

Rounding out the scoring for Clarion was
Sylvia Stibley, who shot a 99 on Monday but held on as Clarion's third-highest finisher in the field. Â
