BELLE VERNON, Pa. – The Golden Eagle women's golf team concluded their weekend at the Vulcan Invitational with a massive improvement from one round to the next, cutting 22 strokes from their first round team score over the final 18 holes. Played at Cedarbrook Golf Course, Clarion finished ninth in the field after shooting a 394.

The biggest jump for the Golden Eagles came from sophomore
Taylor Galigher, who herself slashed 15 strokes from her previous day's score. Galigher shot a team-best 85 on Monday, beating by four strokes
Samantha Huth's team-best round on Sunday. Huth followed up her 89 in the first round with a 93 in the second, giving her a team-best two-day score of 182 that placed her 35
th. Galigher's big second day brought her to within three strokes of Huth with a 185.

Lauren McGrady and
McLain Alt also made significant strides from yesterday's action. McGrady improved by two strokes on Monday, shooting a 108, while Alt improved by nine strokes to card a 108.
