BROOKVILLE, Pa. --- Braving chilly, windy conditions on the last day of the fall season, the Golden Eagle women's golf team rebounded nicely with a solid round on the second day of the Clarion Fall Invitational. Clarion shot a combined 360 on Monday morning, 10 strokes better than their first round at Pinecrest Country Club, and finished sixth overall.

Alt shot a 94 on Monday one day after carding a round of 105, giving her a two-day score of 199. She birdied the par-five 13th hole and parred the holes two and three to settle in through the day.

Also carving off significant strokes from their previous day were Hailee Liptak and Sylvia Stibley, with the former improving by two strokes and the former four strokes. Liptak rebounded form a tough start on the 14th hole to tighten up the rest of the way, including a birdie on the par-five eighth hole to finish with an 88. Stibley ended up with a 90 on Monday, including a birdie on the par-four fifth hole and limiting her big numbers.
