FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Dealing with injuries and rainy conditions all day long, the Golden Eagle women's golf team finished off a dreary first day at the Kutztown Fall Invitational on Sunday. Clarion golfers ranked eighth as a team after 18 holes at Moselem Springs Golf Club.
 
Samantha Huth and Sylvia Stibley both tied for the team lead as well as 25^th in the field of 42 golfers, shooting identical scores of 95 on the opening 18. Emily DeMartino was third on the team among those that finished the day, shooting a score of 111 that was tied for 38^th overall. Macey Davison placed fourth for the Golden Eagles with a score of 121.
 
Clarion will resume action at Moselem Springs tomorrow morning for 18 more holes of action.
