FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Dealing with injuries and rainy conditions all day long, the Golden Eagle women's golf team finished off a dreary first day at the Kutztown Fall Invitational on Sunday. Clarion golfers ranked eighth as a team after 18 holes at Moselem Springs Golf Club.
Samantha Huth and
Sylvia Stibley both tied for the team lead as well as 25
th in the field of 42 golfers, shooting identical scores of 95 on the opening 18.
Emily DeMartino was third on the team among those that finished the day, shooting a score of 111 that was tied for 38
th overall.
Macey Davison placed fourth for the Golden Eagles with a score of 121.
Clarion will resume action at Moselem Springs tomorrow morning for 18 more holes of action.
