Jordan Soriano and Dominic Findora responded with back-to-back tech falls to put the Dragons ahead 10-6, but Herrera-Rondon picked up his second tech fall of the day at 157 pounds, beating Tyler Williams 18-3 to put his team back ahead.

Worthing gave Clarion the lead for good in the 174-pound bout, tech falling Jasiah Queen in the second period to make it a 16-14 Golden Eagle lead. Pine tacked on with a tech fall of his own to make it 21-14, but a point penalty was assessed to Clarion to make it a five-point match.
