CLARION, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team cruised to their second straight dual meet win on Friday, beating IUP 184-112 in Tippin Natatorium.

The Crimson Hawks got the better of the Golden Eagles early on, with IUP's top relay team winning the 200 Medley Relay and Avital Flaishman pacing the field in the 1000 Free. The Golden Eagles responded quickly, putting up the top-two placewinners in the 200 Free. Joslyn Jurski led the way with a time of 1:56.97 while Amanda Fetsko finished right behind her, touching the wall in a time of 1:58.69.

The spate of IUP wins continued for several events, though, until broke through again in the 200 Fly. Emma Dorsey and Rachael Hess were the top two finishers in the event and were separated by just 0.2 seconds, with the former finishing in 2:17.35 and the latter in 2:17.55. The same happened in the 50 Free, with Hannah Greenway winning with a time of 23.90 and Jordan Kutchak touching the wall in 25.35. Fetsko followed up with her first win of the night in the next event, winning the 100 Free with a time of 54.03. Clarion had three of the top four finishers in that event, with Madelynn McTeer taking third (55.15) and Haley Miller placing fourth (56.05).

It was still a tight meet heading down the stretch, with Jurski doing her best to put some distance between the Golden Eagles and Crimson Hawks with a win in the 500 Free. She touched the wall in 5:17.75, more than 11 seconds faster than Flaishman. Greenway shined in the 100 Fly with an individual win of her own, finishing in 57.86, and the duo of Maria Wold and Rachael Hess took the top two spots in the 200 IM. Wold finished in 2:14.31 while Hess edged out Summer Esson with a time of 2:16.68.

Clarion finished the night strong by taking the top two spots in the 400 Free Relay, ensuring the dual meet win. Fetsko, Kutchak, McTeer and Greenway led the way with a time of 3:39.93, while the quartet of Jurski, Zara Paisley, Hess and Miller came in at 3:41.12.

The highlights of the night overall, though, were over at the diving well. Alexa Gonczi broke Luna Castellanos' pool record on the 3-Meter Dive six-dive list with a score of 326.1, winning the six-dive event. Taelyn Thomas, meanwhile, hit her first NCAA qualifying mark of the season in the 1-Meter Dive 11-dive list, taking second with a 399.6. Katie Madigan won that event with a score of 467.25.
