BLOOMSBURG, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's swimming & diving team split with their opponents at Friday night's tri-meet, falling 118-86 to Bloomsburg but beating Lycoming 171-15 in Bloomsburg.

The Golden Eagles started things off on the right foot, winning the 200 Medley Relay. The quartet of
Henry Miller,
Dominic Cortopassi,
David Bocci and
Austin Prokopec touched the wall in a time of 1:34.31, more than three full seconds ahead of Bloomsburg's top foursome. Cortopassi also picked up the first individual win for the Golden Eagles of the night, pacing the field in the 200 Free with a time of 1:42.60. That was nearly three seconds ahead of Bloomsburg's Ethan Coffman, who took second with a time of 1:45.20.

Bocci delivered a pair of individual wins of his own later in the night, starting by cruising past the rest of the field in the 200 IM. He beat Bloomsburg's Matthew Boehme by nearly two seconds, finishing in 1:54.37. The senior was also the top of the field in the 500 Free, finishing in a time of 4:47.64.

Cortopassi won a second individual event himself, closing out the night with a win in the 100 Breast. He entered the night with the fastest 100 Breast in the PSAC and put up another strong time in the event, edging out Bloomsburg's Andrew Holmes with a time of 57.57.

There were a handful of other notable finishes on Friday.
George Horey took second place in the 1000 Free, hitting a PSAC-qualifying time with a mark of 10:13.33. Prokopec took second in the 50 Free with a 21.41, and Miller took second in the 100 Fly with a time of 51.67. Prokopec logged a second-place finish in the 100 Free with a time of 47.96.
