Women's Swimming & Diving Splits at Bloomsburg

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team split with their opponents at a tri-meet on Friday night, falling 104-83 to Bloomsburg but beat Lycoming 153-20 in Bloomsburg.
 
Joslyn Jurski recorded the first individual win of the day for the Golden Eagles, leading the field in the 1000 Free. She held a commanding lead on the rest of the field, beating Bloomsburg's Maddie Osanitsch by more than 22 seconds. She picked up her second win of the night in the other distance event contested on Friday, leading the field in the 500 Free with a time of 5:15.65.
 
Hannah Greenway and Zoey Beck  logged their own individual wins later in the night, starting with a victory by the former in the 100 Fly. Greenway hit a PSAC-qualifying time of 58.54 to lead the field. Beck, meanwhile, was the sole competitor to finish the 100 Back under a minute, leading with a time of 59.48.
 
The night started with the 200 Medley Relay team of Beck, Madelynn McTeer, Greenway and Jordan Kutchak taking second place with a time of 1:49.05. The Golden Eagles racked up points in the 200 Free by featuring the second through fourth place finishers, with Amanda Fetsko (1:59.13), Erika Zimmerman (2:00.04) and Rachael Hess (2:00.68) all showing well. Greenway took second in the 50 Free with a time of 24.00.
