Joslyn Jurski and
Hannah Greenway both hit NCAA B cuts on Friday night, highlighting the second day of the Zippy Invite hosted by Akron. Both swimmers posted what would rank as the top times in the conference this season in their respective Friday events.

Jurski was the first to do it on Friday, shaving off 13 seconds from her previous season-best in the 500 Free to take 13
th place in the loaded Division I field. The junior touched the wall in a time of 4:59.69, a huge leap from her time of 5:12.65 set earlier this year and five seconds ahead of the pace for the NCAA B cut in the event. She was also just a second off her previous school record time of 4:58.55 set last season.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Greenway excelled in the shortest race of the night, retaking the top spot in the PSAC in the 50 Free. The senior sprinter hit her best-ever time in the event, touching the wall in a time of 23.31 to take 12
th in the field. That topped her previous best in the open event, a 23.41 against Westminster, and even topped her best-ever split in the 50 Free, a 23.34 at that same meet. Greenway jumped Bloomsburg's Rylee Wenzel (23.36) to resume the top spot in the conference.

Other individuals competing in Friday night's finals were
Eva Molenaar,
Rachael Hess and
Lillian Linscheid. Molenaar and Hess competed in the 200 IM with times of 2:10.87 and 2:11.65 respectively, while Linscheid swam a 5:25.65 in the 500 Free.

Rounding out action on Friday night was the 400 Medley Relay. The foursome of
Zoey Beck,
Haley Miller, Greenway and
Amanda Fetsko placed 16
th in the huge field, touching the wall in a time of 3:52.04.
