INDIANA, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team kicked off the 2025-26 season with a pair of meet wins on Friday, winning both the Crimson Hawk Fall Invitational and the IUP Sprint Frenzy at Pidgeon Natatorium.

RECAP: The Golden Eagle women started the day by eking out a win in the Crimson Hawk Fall Invitational, with Clarion athletes winning one individual event and one relay while generally scoring in depth in other events.

Returning NCAA qualifier
Joslyn Jurski led a trio of Golden Eagles in the 200 Free, with the senior freestyler winning the race followed closely by
Madelynn McTeer and Raely Fajohn. Jurski touched the wall in a time of 1:58.04, more than three full seconds ahead of McTeer (2:01.06), who took second. Fajohn rounded out the trio with a time of 2:01.85, giving Clarion the three top spots in the race and scads of points.

The other win of the day came in the 400 Free Relay, with the Clarion quartet of
Amanda Fetsko,
Joslyn Jurski, Raely Fajohn and
Madelynn McTeer edging out Edinboro for the victory. The Golden Eagles "A" squad finished the relay in a time of 3:37.63, while the "B" team took fourth, to add to the team's points total.

The other top individual finisher for Clarion was
Zoey Beck, who placed second in the 100 Back. She touched the wall in a time of 1:02.03.

RECAP: The second meet of the day was once again an exercise in depth for the Golden Eagles. Though they won just two events – one individual and one relay – they racked up points throughout the course of the meet with high finishers.

The 200 Free Relay team of
Amanda Fetsko, Raely Fajohn,
Joslyn Jurski and
Madelynn McTeer took the top spot in their race, beating IUP's top foursome by a half-second with a time of 1:40.02. Jurski also contributed to a big finish in the 50 Back;
Zoey Beck won the race in a time of a 28.47, followed closely by Jurski (29.40) and
Sydney Updegrave (29.44) to put three Golden Eagles atop the podium in that race.

Fetsko and Jurski contributed to the cause in the 100 Free, taking the second and third spots with times of 54.45 and 55.08.
Rachael Hess was not far behind, placing fifth with a time of 55.67. McTeer tacked on a second place finish in the 50 Free, swimming in 25.02, while
Gina DiNapoli placed second in the 50 Fly at 26.79.
