MORGANTOWN, W.Va. --- The women of the Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team wrapped their second day at the Mountaineer Diving Invitational with another outstanding effort, with four Clarion divers reaching the finals of the 1-meter Dive on Friday evening.

Taelyn Thomas led all competitors in the stacked field, posting a score of 273.20 to highlight Clarion's effort. She was consistent through her entire list, with a high score of 49.40 coming on her last dive of the night, a Forward 2 ½ Somersault Pike.

Taking third in the field was
Luna Castellanos, with the senior posting a score of 254.65. She also posted her best score on her last dive, scoring 45.00 on a Back 1 ½ Somersault 1 ½ Twist Free.
Katie Madigan was just one place and a handful of points behind her with a score of 250.80. On her third dive of the night she scored 46.80, successfully executing a Reverse 1 ½ Somersault Pike.

Rounding out the finalists for the Golden Egales on Friday night was
Colleen Hudson. Her most difficult dive of the night yielded her highest score, with Hudson scoring 46.80 on a Reverse 1 ½ Somersault 1 ½ Twist Free.

Madina Schebler took sixth in the consolation final. She posted a score of 220.80.
