MORGANTOWN, W.Va. --- The women of the Golden Eagle women's swimming & diving team wrapped their three-day stay at the Mountaineer Diving Invitational, with Clarion taking second and fourth in the team event.

The Golden Eagle "A" team took second overall with a score of 260.05, while the "B" squad posted a score of 233.10.

In the event, three Golden Eagles apiece competed on each team, with each competitor doing two dives – two on a 5-meter platform, two on the 3-meter springboard and two on the 1-meter springboard. The "A" team consisted of
Colleen Hudson,
Katie Madigan and
Luna Castellanos, with Hudson performing both platform dives and the other two divers splitting the 1-meter and 3-meter boards. The "B" team consisted on
Taelyn Thomas – who performed both platform dives –
Mya Lee and
Madina Schebler.

Of Hudson's two dives on the 5-meter platform, her highest scoring effort came on the first, a Back 1 ½ Somersault ½ Twist Free. That was good for 40.95 on the board. The highest scoring dive of the event was an Inward 1 ½ Somersault Pike on the 1-meter board by Castellanos, which netted a 50.40.

On the "B" squad, the highest score of the event was on the final dive was Schebler, who put up a score of 45.60 on the Forward 2 ½ Somersault Pike on the 3-meter board.
