200 medley relay vs shippensburg

Women's Swimming & Diving Routs Shippensburg

CLARION, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle women's swimming & diving team recorded a convincing win at Tippin Natatorium on Friday evening, beating Shippensburg 201-42 in a PSAC dual meet.
 
The Golden Eagles placed the top two teams in the 200 Medley Relay, with Zoey Beck, Erika Zimmerman, Gina DiNapoli and Madelynn McTeer winning with a time of 1:49.45. The foursome of Sydney Updegrave, Eva Molenaar, Rachael Hess and Amanda Fetsko were just behind them in second place with a time of 1:51.72.
 
Joslyn Jurski followed up with a win in the 1000 Free, touching the wall in a time of 10:51.96, with Lillian Linscheid taking second in a time of 11:23.35 and Caitlyn Brennan third at 11:49.88. Jurski went on to win the 500 Free with a time of 5:18.10, and was also part of the winning 200 Free Relay team alongside Knausz, Raely Fajohn and Madelynn McTeer. Jurski swam a split of 24.86, the second-fastest behind McTeer's 23.74.
 
McTeer won the 200 Free with a time of 1:58.05, while Fajohn came in just behind her with a time of 1:58.40. Fetsko was the winner in the 50 Free with a time of 25.08, while Elli Knausz took first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:42.62. Sarah Grimenstein and Eva Molenaar took second and third in the same event with times of 4:46.77 and 5:00.73. Knausz went on to win the 200 Breast with a time of 2:32.81. Rachael Hess followed with a win in the 200 Fly, touching the wall with a time of 2:15.04.
 
In the 100 Free, Erika Zimmerman, Fajohn and Zara Paisley took the top three spots, with Zimmerman winning in 53.93. Fajohn was second with a time of 54.57 and Paisley third with a time of 56.63. Sydney Updegrave won the 200 Back with a time of 2:13.22.
 
Clarion wrapped things up with the top two spots in the 200 Free Relay. Knausz, Jurski, Fajohn and McTeer touched the wall in 1:38.76, while Grimenstein, Zimmerman, Paisley and Updegrave took second in 1:41.52.
 
In the diving events, Luna Castellanos won both the 1-meter and 3-meter Dive events. The senior scored 276.83 in the former and 276.00 in the latter. Colleen Hudson placed second in the 1-meter with a score of 271.13, while Katie Madigan was second in the 3-meter with a score of 275.03.
