Men's Swimming & Diving Takes Third at PSACs

YORK, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's swimming & diving team closed out the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Swimming Championships with three more All-PSAC performances on Thursday night, as Clarion placed third in the conference to conclude this year's event.
 
David Bocci wrapped up what was a terrific four-year run at the conference championships with an individual all-conference performance and a hand in a relay performance. The senior took second in the 200 Back, touching the wall in 1:49.64 to wrap the last individual event of the week. Henry Miller won the B final and took ninth overall with a time of 1:53.61, while Landon Seman (1:58.51), Kevin Santos (1:55.00) and Logan Curtis (1:59.74) took 14th through 16th place respectively.
 
Gavin Guckavan authored the Golden Eagles' other all-conference performance on Thursday, placing third in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:02.56. Michael Lintelman also reached the A final in the event, taking seventh with a time of 2:05.47. Rich Scholer rounded out the scoring in the 200 Breast, taking second in the B final and 10th overall with a time of 2:05.36.
 
The 400 Free Relay team of Bocci, Mason Peck, Dylan Chaky and Mason Irwin closed out the night and the Championships for the Golden Eagles, taking third with a time of 3:03.32. Peck hit a split of 45.89 in the second leg of the event, while Irwin exploded for this best split on the team with a time of 44.80 in the anchor leg.
 
George Horey opened the night with a top-eight finish in the 1650 Free, finshing the mile-long swim in a time of 16:39.32 for eighth place overall. Kevin Santos took 12th with a time of 17:00.97, while Isaac Wayne snuck into the scoring with a 16th place finish, touching the wall in 17:18.58. Austin Prokopec took sixth in the 100 Free with a time of 45.54, while Irwin (46.03) and Dominic Cortopassi (46.22) took 10th and 12th respectively.
