Women's Swimming & Diving Completes Third Day at PSACs

YORK, Pa. --- The Clarion women's swimming & diving team continued to hold among the best in the conference through three-quarters of the 2026 PSAC Swimming Championships, putting themselves in third place overall heading into the final day of action.
 
The top finisher of the night for Clarion was Elli Knausz, who earned All-PSAC honors with a third place finish in the 200 Fly. The freshman erased two seconds from her morning prelim time, touching the wall in a time of 2:07.49. Rachael Hess joined her in the A final, taking seventh with a time of 2:09.00.
 
Three more Golden Eagles followed in the B final, led by Caitlyn Brennan's 11th place time of 2:12.49. Emma Dorsey (14th – 2:12.71) and Sarah Grimenstein (15th – 2:14.03) rounded out that heat.
 
Joslyn Jurski just barely missed out on adding another All-PSAC honor to her mantle, placing fourth in the 500 Free. The senior logged the fastest time in the morning preliminary with an NCAA B cut of 5:03.16 on Friday, and followed up with a mark of 5:04.74 in the evening to finish just behind Edinboro's Eliza Miller.
 
Zoey Beck also added a fourth place finish in the evening finals, touching the wall in a dead head with Bloomsburg's Morgan Holmes in the 100 Back. Beck shaved more than a half-second off her morning prelim time to finish in 57.27. Sydney Updegrave and Reese Charney both competed in the B final, placing 11th (58.98) and 14th (59.49) respectively. Two more Golden Eagles – Raely Fajohn (22nd – 1:00.60) and Amanda Fetsko (24th – 1:01.47) rounded out the scoring.
 
Eva Molenaar was the team's highest scorer in the 100 Breast, taking 14th overall with a time of 1:07.23. Erika Zimmerman took fourth in the C final and 20th overall with a time of 1:08.00.
 
Rounding things out on Friday was the 200 Medley Relay team that kicked off the proceedings with a fifth place finish. The quartet of Beck, Molenaar, Hess and Zimmerman logged a time of 1:46.16.
