Jaclyn Metzger defeated Alexis Cup at No. 1 singles by a 6-3, 7-5 score. Lauren Zezenski was defeated by Amanda Gans 6-1, 6-1at No. 2; Madeline Robinson lost to Morgan Dolinar 6-2, 6-4 at No.3; Megan Bettwy defeated Emily Morris 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4 and was named all-star of the match; Brittany Buchheit lost to Jessa Paruch 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5; and Drusilla Keeling-Woolbright lost to Kylie Auman 6-3, 6-2, 6-1at No. 6.
In doubles play, Metzger and Zezenski lost to Cup and Gans 9-8, 7-1 at No. 1; Bettwy and Lauren Rhine defeated Paruch and Dolinar 8-5 at No. 2; and Robinson and Buchheit defeated Regina Woloshun and Morris 8-5 at No. 3.
Clarion will travel to both York and Millersville Friday and Kutztown Saturday. The next home match will be against Pitt-Greensburg at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Campbell Courts.
