EDINBORO – The Clarion University women's indoor track and field team had a pair of PSAC qualifiers at the Edinboro Invitational Saturday.
Alexis Carter won the 400-meter dash in a PSAC qualifying time of 1:01.90, while
Sarah Loughner won the high jump in a PSAC qualifying leap of 1.54 meters.
Carter was also second in the 200-meter dash in a time of 26.88, while
Maggie O'Neil was sixth in the high jump with a leap of 1.49 meters. Katie Champers was seventh in the 400 in a time of 1:04.69,
Jessica Vitous was seventh in the long jump with a leap of 4.79 meters and eighth in the 60-meter dash in a time of 9.99 seconds and
Courtney Gross was seventh in the triple jump flying 9.52 meters.
Also for the Golden Eagles, the 4x400-meter relay team of Carter,
Kayla Kohlman,
Tanea Lehman and
Katie Chambers was fourth in a time of 4:20.87.
Clarion returns to action Saturday at the College Open in Geneva, Ohio.
