CALIFORNIA, Pa. – A valiant comeback attempt by the Clarion University's women's volleyball team fell just short, as homestanding California handed the Golden Eagles their first loss of the season, 3-2, in a key midseason PSAC West match Friday night.
The Golden Eagles (14-1 overall, 4-1 PSAC) fell behind 2-0 quickly losing the first two matches by scores of 25-20 and 25-23.
