CLARION NETTERS LOSE 9-0 AT CALIFORNIA

(Bethel, Park, Pa.): Clarion's Women's Tennis traveled to Bethel Park to take on #12 rated California and lost to the Vulcans 9-0 on Friday afternoon.

Played at the Glen Creek Tennis Club in Bethel Park, clarion's record dips to 3-9 overall and 0-2 in the PSAC-West, while California is now 4-2 and 2-0 in the West.

In singles action Lauren Zezenski lost 6-0, 6-0 to #5 Lucie Sipkova at #1; Megan Bettwy lost 6-0, 6-1 to #38 Ramona Czakon at #2; Madeline Robinson lost 6-1, 6-0 to Lucie rey at #3, Jessica Kennelly lost 6-1, 6-0 to Keifer Shaw at #4; Jessica Dgien lost 6-0, 6-0 to Veronika Mikulis at #5 and Allison Probst lost 6-0, 6-0 to Mariela Sarinana at #6.

In doubles action Zezenski and Robinson lost 8-0 to #11 Sipkova and Rey at #1; Bettwy and Kennelly lost 8-0 to Czakon and Sarinana at #2 and Dgien and Probst lost 8-0 Burrell and Gross at #3.

Clarion's next scheduled match is home at the Campbell courts against Slippery Rock at Noon on Sunday.
