CLARION NETTERS DEFEAT CHEYNEY 8-0 – NOW 4-0 ON SEASON
 
            (Cheyney, Pa.): Clarion posted its first shutout of the season and downed Cheyney on Friday afternoon by an 8-0 score, raising the team's record to 4-0 on the season.
 
            The Golden Eagles were 5-0 in singles action with Lauren Zezenski defeating Lachelle Miller 6-1, 6-0 at #1; Megan Bettwy defeated Taylor Billington 6-0, 6-0 at #2; Maria Snyder defeated Jessica LaRoda 6-0, 6-0 at #4; Jessica Kennelly won 6-0, 6-0 over Eric Kellem at #5 and Jessica Dgien won by default at #6.
 
            In doubles action Zezenski and Robinson defeated Miller and Billington 8-0 at #1; Bettwy and Maria Snyder defeated Shelton and LaRoda 8-0 at #2 and Kennelly and Mulligan won by default at #3.
 
                Clarion will have Bettwy and Zezenski compete at the PSAc singles and doubles championship starting Saturday at West Chester.
