EDINBORO, Pa. – The Clarion women's tennis team took on a PSAC opponent on the road on Sunday, falling by a 9-0 score to Edinboro at Sox Harrison Stadium. With the loss, Clarion falls to 4-9 on the season and 0-5 in conference action.

The tightest match of the day against the Fighting Scots came in the No. 1 singles match, where
Alivia Arnold forced Julia Hellstern to a tiebreaker. Arnold came back from a 6-0 first set loss to beat Hellstern 6-2 in the second set.Â
Jessica Kennelly also had a close bout at No. 4 singles, taking Roxana Yeh to 6-4 in the first set before falling 6-2 in the second.Â

In doubles action, the pairing of Kennelly and
Sarah Robbins also forced a close match with the Fighting Scots. They kept things close with Hellstern and Lydia Browne but ultimately fell by an 8-5 score.
