EDINBORO, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle tennis team wrapped up the 2025-26 season on the road on Saturday, battling but ultimately falling to Edinboro by a 5-2 score. Clarion won two points in the singles session but could not overcome the Fighting Scots.

Alana Jackson won her second straight singles match of the weekend, beating Izzy Hanek in straight sets in the No. 5 singles match. She didn't allow Hanek to take as much as a game in their match, winning by a 6-0, 6-0 score.

Eliza Harrington also earned a singles point for Clarion, giving the team two in the singles session. Edinboro took the remaining four matches on the court, locking up the team win.
Emily McMahan and
Abby Rodgers both took games in their matches, from Sofia Benito in the No. 2 match and Luciana Ponce in the No. 4 match respectively.

Edinboro won the doubles session to start off the match, taking the Nos. 1 and 2 matches by 6-0 scores.
