CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion tennis team fell in their final home match of the season, dropping a 9-0 decision to Edinboro at Campbell Courts on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles (5-8, 0-4 PSAC) will be back in action next week when they take on Slippery Rock.

Katie Benson was solid in her home finale, pushing Marija Tmusic in the No. 6 singles match. Benson rallied from a 6-1 loss in the first set to pressure Tmusic in the second, getting as close as 5-3 before falling.

The Fighting Scots swept doubles action and clinched the team win in the No. 1 singles match, with Laura Lopez defeating
Alivia Arnold.Â
Maria Snyder had the longest singles match of the day, battling Julia Hellstern but ultimately falling in straight sets in the No. 2 singles match.
