BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Clarion tennis team opened its season on Saturday, competing at the PSAC Singles/Doubles Individual Championships hosted by Bloomsburg.  The Golden Eagles will return to action this weekend when they host Kutztown and East Stroudsburg.
 
In doubles action. the duo of Vinisha Reddy and Alivia Arnold fell to Bloomsburg's Cassidy Calimer and Vitoria Nery by an 8-2 score. 
 
Arnold fell in singles action to the top seed in the tournament, dropping a 6-2, 6-1 decision to IUP's Julia Newman in the opening round.  Reddy also fell in singles action, dropping a 6-0, 6-0 decision to West Chester's Danisa Erriad.
