ERIE, Pa. – The Clarion men's swimming and diving team came up short falling 131-74 in a dual meet at Gannon University Friday night. The full team will be back in action when they head to Shippensburg to take on the Raiders November 1.

Josh Thruston took first in the 200 IM touching the wall ith a final mark of 1:59.38, he would go on to finish first a few events later in the 100 Free with a final time of 46.81.

The 200 Medley Relay team of
Corey Mock, Thruston,
Connor Cary and
Jacob Yant finished second with a final time of 1:42.70, while Cary finished second in the 200 Free and the 100 Fly with final times of 1:46.15 and 51.81 respectively.

Ty Rabenstein, Bobby Shots and Sean Sreyle went 2,3,4 in the 500 Free all touching the wall just over 5 minutes. Rounding out the swimming events for the Golden Eagles, In the 200 Free Relay, the "A" team of
Tate Swanson,
Paul Flowers,
Hayden Harmon and Yant grabbed four team points with a final mark of 1:32.09.

Jordan Morret took second in both events on the night.
