EDINBORO, Pa. -- The Golden Eagle tennis team went back on the road for conference action on Tuesday, falling by a 7-0 score to Edinboro.  

Clarion's best match fo the day came in the No. 5 singles match, where Charlie Allison went back and forth with Ana Nadai in the first set. Allison pushed Nadai to a 6-4 score in the first set, but ultimately dropped the second set to fall in the match. Alexis Strouse, Savannah Buttery and Alyson Fisher all also took games in singles action, but the Fighting Scots took the five contested matches to lock up the win. 

In the doubles session, Strouse and Buttery dropped a 6-1 decision to Luciana Ponce and Rafaella Negrao de Almeida in the No. 1 match. The Fighting Scots also won the No. 2 doubles match to sweep the session and take the doubles point.
