CLARION, Pa. --- The divers of the Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team kicked off the 2025-26 season at the Don Leas Diving Invitational, with four Golden Eagles recording at least one NCAA qualifying score and a trio of others making two qualifying marks.

Two-time Division II Women's Diver of the Year
Luna Castellanos won both the 1-meter and 3-meter Dives on Friday, hitting NCAA qualifying marks in the process. She took the 3-meter Dive title with a score of 537.65 in the 11-dive list. Her best dive of the event came on her fifth attempt, where she recorded a 60.75 on an Inward 2 ½ Somersault Tuck.
Taelyn Thomas was second in the field with a qualifying score of 463.30, including a 63.45 on an Inward 2 ½ Somersault Tuck on her second dive.
Colleen Hudson hit a qualifying score with a 453.40 to place third, while
Katie Madigan added a qualifying score of 441.70 to place fourth.

Castellanos also hit an NCAA mark in her second event of the night, scoring a 471.90 in the 1-meter Dive. Madigan was second in the field with a score of 432.65, followed by Thomas's score of 431.20 that rounded out the NCAA qualifying marks in that event. Hudson just missed out on hitting that mark again, placing fourth with a score of 378.10, while
Mya Lee placed sixth with a score of 343.80.
Reese Norton (8
th – 328.20) and
Madina Schebler (319.50) also finished in the top-10.

Castellanos logged a pair of pool records on Friday, hitting the mark in the 3-meter 6-dive list (330.90) and 11-dive list (537.65).
