CLARION, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles tennis team returned home for a PSAC West match on Saturday, hosting California (PA) at Campbell Courts. The Vulcans beat Clarion 7-0, sweeping the doubles session as well as all six singles matches.

In the doubles session, the No. 3 doubles team of
Alana Jackson and
Eliza Harrington took a game from Gianna Bloom and Garance Laforet, but ultimately fell by a 6-1 score. The Vulcans won the other two doubles matches by 6-0 scores, taking all three for the doubles point to start the match.

In the singles session,
Emily McMahan took a pair of games from Diletta Mungo in the No. 2 match, falling to her by a 6-1, 6-1 score.
Taelyn Thomas nabbed a set from Laforet before falling 6-1, 6-0. The Vulcans won the remaining four matches in straight sets, sweeping the overall match for a 7-0 victory.
