HARRISON CITY, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles tennis team played their second match in as many days on Saturday, falling by a 6-1 score to Seton Hill in a conference match.

Eliza Harrington earned her first career victories on Saturday, winning in her singles match and teaming with
Alana Jackson for the first collegiate doubles wins for either player. Harrington beat Rachel Cassley in straight sets in the No. 6 singles match, overcoming Cassley by a 6-3, 6-3 score to earn the Golden Eagles' sole point of the day.

In the doubles session, Harrington and Jackson picked up a win over the Griffins' Jaime Kallet and Cassley. The Clarion duo won the No. 3 doubles match by a 6-3 score, representing the team's lone doubles win.

Seton Hill won the other two doubles matches contested on Saturday, with Carissa Shepard and Alycia Derr winning the No. 1 match 6-0 and the pair of Kaylee Kanuka and Alexandra Wolf the No. 2 match by a 6-1 score.
Emily McMahan nearly took the No. 2 singles match from Kanuka with an inspired effort, forcing a third set tiebreaker after falling in the first set. McMahan bounced back from a 6-3 loss in the first set to win the second 6-4, but dropped the third set breaker 10-4.

The other singles matches went firmly in the direction of the Griffins, with Seton Hill winning four of the six matches in straight sets.
