Amanda Lewis

Box Score

ERIE – Thanks to a pair of first-half goals, the Clarion University women's soccer team ran its PSAC record to 3-1 with a 2-0 win at Gannon Saturday afternoon.
“To go on the road and beat a quality opponent like Gannon, this is a big win,” Clarion's first-year head coach Rob Eaton said.
Clarion struck early on an unassisted Amanda Lewis goal at the second minute before building the lead to 2-0 at the 26th minute on an unassisted tally by Bethany Naugle. The goals were the third of the season for each player.
Senior keeper Jenna Kulik made the goals stand up making nine saves, as Gannon had 19 total shots including 13 in the second half. It was Kulik's second shutout of the year.
NOTES – The three conference wins already tie for the most in program history with the 2007 squad that finished 3-6-1 in PSAC play ... The shutout ties Kulik for the school record for career shutouts with 10 ... Clarion has won back-to-back conference games for the first time since 2007.
