Autumn Rosenberg

Box Score
CLARION-Heather Robbins' goal in the 17th minute of the game was the difference as IUP(7-1-1, 5-1-1) defeated Clarion (3-6-1, 1-6-1)  2-0 Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.

"We didn't score goals again that's the bottom line," Head Coach Eaton said.

During the 40th minute Clarion's Autumn Rosenberg had a chance to even the game, but her break away shot went wide keeping the score at 1-0.

Clarion fought the whole second half and still only trailed by a goal when IUP's Carter Sheely scored in the 83rd minute giving IUP a 2-0 lead with only minutes to go in the game.

The Golden Eagles were only able to come up with three shots on goal and five shots throughout the whole game.

Laura Saussol gave up the two goals but also had nine saves against the 19 shots she faced.

Clarion will be back in action Sunday at 12p.m. in Greensburg where they take on Seton Hill, and home Wednesday against Lock Haven.
