(Clarion, Pa.) The Clarion Women's tennis team ends the fall season with a record of 4-2.  The Golden Eagles swept all of their matches on Sunday to defeat Pitt-Greensburg 9-0.
 
            At No. 1, Jaclyn Metzger defeated Cayla Ray 6-1, 6-0; No. 2, Lauren Zezenski defeated Ashley Uncapher 6-1, 6-0; No. 3, Megan Bettwy defeated Tiffany Piper 6-0, 6-2; Madeline Robinson defeated Thooya Gnanavel at No. 4 with a score of 6-0, 6-0; Lauren Rhine defeated Breanne Hyatt 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5; and Brittany Buchheit  defeated Alyssa Davis at No. 6 with a score of 6-0, 6-0.
 
            In doubles action, Metzger and Zezenski defeated Uncapher and Hyatt 8-0; Bettwy and Rhine defeated Piper and Emily Gibson 8-1; and Robinson and Buchheit defeated Ray and Davis 8-1.
 
            The Golden Eagles have found their confidence in hopes of a strong spring season which will start on March 27, 2012 when they host Slippery Rock at Campbell Courts.
