CLARION-
Autumn Rosenberg's goal in the 21st minute evened the game at 1-1 which is where it stayed as Clarion (3-7-2, 1-6-2) tied Lock Haven (2-5-2, 1-4-2) on Wednesday evening, at Memorial Stadium.
"I think we can take a lot out of this game," said Head Coach Rob Eaton. "We responded to being down for the first time in awhile and towards the end of the game we had chances and it looked like we were determined and wanted to win."
Lock Haven's Carly D'Orsaneo scored the game's first goal in the 19th minute giving the Eagles and early 1-0 lead.
Answering D'Orsaneo's goal two minutes later was Rosenberg.
"The ball came in and hit off someone and I just happened to be there and it just hit off my leg and went into the net," said Rosenberg. "I just happened to be at the right place at the right time."
Clarion's goalie
Laura Saussol came up with fifteen saves holding Lock Haven to only one goal.
Clarion will travel to Slippery Rock this Saturday, October, 8, and will be back at home Tuesday October 11 where they will host Shippensburg.
